Curriculum Mapping focuses on the quality of leadership
and the effectiveness of instructional programs and practices. By having every teacher map his/her curriculum, the teachers
own the process and product. The teachers receive professional development throughout the mapping in the areas of data driven
instruction and classroom leadership strategies.
The Bridgeport Diocesan Schools have mapped Math, Science, Language Arts, Computer Science
and Religion grades K-9. Currently, teachers and administrators are mapping Spanish.
